Have you done a pregnancy test!? you can have a period when you are pregnant but they are usually shorter and very light flow. If you are not pregnant check with your doctor you are sporting some really weird symptoms that are definately trying to tell you something

OK. The brown blood means it is old, not fresh blood. Implantation bleeding is just a few spots of brown blood, but it doesn't last for five days.

It does sound like you have had a very early miscarriage or a chemical pregnancy in which the egg doesn't implant in the uterus.

This is not all bad news. Sometimes your body needs a warm up and women actually find that they are more fertile after an event like this.

I am assuming you had a pap smear and a normal exam before you starting trying, but if not, this is a good opportunity to have that done.

Good luck next month.

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

You could be pregnant. The spotting and brown stuff would have been the implantation of the embryo to your uterus. I just found out I'm Pregnant on Tuesday. Good Luck!!

I just went to a website that said that when your egg is implanted...(not when you concieve) you could have spotting. I would go to the doctor to find out for sure though. I hope everything is fine. You will be in my prayers for a healthy pregnancy :)
