Well, God said that "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23a) and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). So basically if God where to punish evil immediately none of us would have even made it far past infancy. So basically it is by mercy that God delays in punishing evil in order to give us time and a chance to repent.

Jehovah has finished something corresponding to what the instructor does. do not overlook that the rebels in Eden were no longer the in straight forward words ones in contact. tens of millions of angels were staring at. Because in Gods plan of which I know somethings from reading my bible, He speaks about the wicked and their punishment will be final, they shall perish(Psalm 37:20). So the evil can eat, drink, and be merry, (for now) because Gods going to have his way with them and it will not be pretty. God has to give the wicked time to change and bow down to him and ask for forgiveness or stay wicked and reap the rewards of their dis-obedience which will be death and not ever lasting life (John 10:28). God gave up his only begotten son and people think that he is going to let them get away with being being contrary to his will. Think again?

If you pertain to EVIL man, God wants them to have the opportunity to change because God understands that man has infirmities.

If you are pertaining to EVIL angel suh as satan, they don' have infirmities. So sinning for them is grave and unforgivable. But why God does not punish them immediately? Because God is just. When man sinned He doesn't punish them immediately, as said above, because they are given chance. therefore same treatment should apply to all creation even to the fallen angels.

So how do we measure "immediately?" Time is relative. I know that when I see someone hurt others...there's a dark side of me that wants to see that person suffer. But just because I may not be a witness to the reaction he'll receive for causing pain to others, dosn't mean it's not going to happen in due course. It will. That's a guarantee. But I need to change my attitude about that as well...I need to not wish to see anyone suffer, not even the person who caused it in the first place, what to speak of the soul who was on the receiving end. Ultimately we cause our own suffering, or enjoying for that matter. It's a hard thing..to take full responsibility of all our actions..good or bad.

God doesn't punish evil right away because its the way he gives that person a second chance to redeem themselves.

Everyone deserves a second chance!

he's busy punishing so-called "christian valued" people. He's pissed that they're being jaded and contradicting their judgemental views of others, while claiming to be Christian. Don't worry though, after he's done with all of them, the other less evil offenses will get theres. You have to be really patient, there are a lot of Christians on his list!

One who commits an evil act is punished simultaneously; for every evil act moves one further and further away from God and and ultimate fulfillment.

Because God gave mankind freewill. Therefore how could he punish us for something he gave us the right to do? Of course these people will be "punished"in the afterlife.

Because He loves us, he gives us the opportunity to repent of our evil-doing. Notice that many times in the Old Testament, people were given chance after chance.
