I want to baby-sit,either a baby or a child,but I don't want my mom or anybody to get in trouble

I think the legal age in most states is 18. However obviously most people have kids younger than that start babysitting earlier. I'd start by babysitting for your mom for a couple of hours. Maybe even try and have her stay home and work on somethings and occupy your younger siblings. Another thing you might want to look into for babysitting for others is taking a babysitting class at your local community center.

If George Bush (a Texan) can baby-sit a nation, I'm sure the minimum age is anything older than an embryo.

I dont think there is a "legal" age; it's up to the parent who hires you.
