Platelets are what make it clot when you have a wound - but if you are referring to blood clots in the system that cause heart attacks etc then that is fats/cholesterol (this could well be yellow - I don't think platelets are).

Platelets. They are not yellow. Are proteins that through a cascade reaction triggered by the immune system are able to call macrophages and other immune system cells to make awound sterile, then other proteins are produced to clot the part and in few hours collagen starts to build up so that the skin can find an optimal matrix to spread and heal the wound

platelets clot the blood in wounds, helping it to heal,but cholesterol clogs up veins and arteries, blocking the blood flow.

platelets. they are small straw coloured cells that are a miss match of shapes, so when they come together and clot it helps form the scab and the under clot
