Strange as this might sound, it's not the founding documents, but how they are implemented. It's been said with some validity that "the US has the constitution of a Banana Republic." There's truth in the fact that we have basically the same legislative and executive system as all the Latin American countries, with the obvious exception of Cuba.
Nonetheless, many Latin American countries have a long history of revolution, as well as "presidents" that ignore the constitution and get away with it. There was a even case in the 50's in which a Chilean President simply "decided" not to leave office when his term was up.

You would have to read the history or Great Britain and France.
The principals adopted by the US constitution actually started in Europe. You might want to start with Magna Carta.

Every country has it. You think of the great ones from the US because you are probably from there but for evey body else their country has it too. Open you mind.

None. What we have was accumulated from experience in European countries...the best taken from there and brought here...to give us the freedoms and rights that those countries don't have...
