Very common. Many marriages are biblically based and submit to the practice of domestic discipline not abuse there is a huge difference. Most people do not discuss what goes on behind closed doors when it comes to disciplining or spanking adults because it is not commonly accepted in the US but is in Canada, and Europe and many peopl call practicing DD sick, perverted, controlled etc. Check the following website out for more info that is clean.

If you meen someone being stuck in a controlling abusive relationship, too common. Who's giving the "discipline"? Even usuing that term denotes that you are the brain-washed victim or the perpetrator of it. Adults don't need to punish eachother unless it's a cops and robbers professional situation(or kinky role-playing that is under mutual consent). Couples should not punish eachother, ever. That means physically, emotionally, financially, or sexually. I hate people that think it's O.K. to do that crap.

Its very common most people don't realize that it's even going on..A simple example is (I better hurry up and get home and cook before my husband gets home) or saying Well if I go fishing she'll get mad orout with the boys ect...Some couple's have disciplined their self not to push each others buttons.

Meaning between parents and kids???
Hope so!! jaja
well it is common, actually is something you need to do in order to teach children what is good and what is bad...

Just remember there's a limit in which it stops being discipline and starts to be an agression...

Good luck!

It's important to have some cotrol over your childrens behavior, it's an obligation, there are no out of control children, just out of touch parents. Control shouldnt be nasty, it must be done in loving not anger, consiquence is fair when reason fails, NEVER HIT OR HURT A KID, NEVER SHAME, BLAME OR INJURE THE SELF ESTEEM OF A KID, NO SPANKING EVER. All parental control must be with love.

Sorry, but I do not understand your question..."discipline" is a word that covers so much ground. Are you speaking of "resolve," "corporal punishment," "goals," etc. ? Please elaborate. If you are speaking of corporal punishment, this is unacceptable in any relationship.
