love them. they are outlandish and crazy but that's what they are supposed to be.

I don't like American soap operas because they move so slowly in time. Watch it once a month and still get the gist of the storylines.
I watch "Coronation Street". All the British soaps I used to watch I don't watch anymore cos I don't have access to them.

I love days of our lives. I have watched it since I was a kid. Any other dool fans out there? What about Hope's baby? Is there any way at all that it can be Bo's? I mean come on now!!!!!!!! I know it is a soap opera but let's be a little bit realistic.

Fun question.. They have a their place in all cultures...now really, don't we all feel a little better about ourselves when compared to the devastated lives of the soap opera stars....victim sanctuary.

I don't mind them, but some of the story lines are pretty out there. Like in Passions, with witches and bringing people back from the dead, so not real. The only thing that bothers me about them is that it takes them 30 episodes or more to play out 3 hours in the life of the characters.

Honestly, I dislike them. My mom watches them every day, and I get annoyed listening to the characters whine and cry all the time. Plus, they don't really capture my interest as much as a regular drama. I tried watching one (Days of Our Lives, i think?) and I almost fell asleep I was so bored LOL. But no, they are certainly not for me!

i watched them religiously when i was a kid, but when it got to a point where i could already figure out what's gonna happen next, i stopped. and discovered the wonderful world of sitcoms! heehee.

The only one I watch is Days of our Lives,and it's awesome!!I've always watched that show.It's addicting.
