The WWE has never really given Rey a chance to show what he can really do. He's to good for the cruiserweight division and sadly looks out of his depth in the heavyweight division. I did love his rivarly with Eddie last year (R.I.P.) because it brought out the intensity that he as a wrestler has. The best direction I see for Rey in the business would be to battle for the United States Championship Belt and to Continue his teamwork with Batista. I don't think it's Rey's fault thought that he comes across weak against the behemoths of the business (especially the useless pieces of crap on Smackdown like Mark Henry and The Great Khali), but rather the people behind the scenes who book these rivalries. It was unfortunate that his rivrly with JBL was so short because I think that was really starting to pick up pace and they could have used the rivalries they both had with Eddie in the past to further their fued. But WWE bookers just seem to be dumb and don't have any time for the smaller guys of the business. I guess as long as Rey stays Word Champ it will only further damage his reputation.

Rey Mysterio is one of the best wrestlers in the wwe. He doesn't dominate matches but he always emerge victorious. Thats a sign of a true champ. But he is not in the same league as Triple H or The Undertaker though.

Rey is probably one of the most talented wrestlers on WWE. He has shown great ability, great mic work, great charisma. But most of all - he is the underdog. People love underdogs. His big push came from when Eddie died. WWE saw that and they capitalized on it. Also - Batista got hurt, Angle took over for a while, but he knew he was going to ECW. It was only logical to put Rey in. Remember when Batista left after he was hurt? He as good as told Rey he had the title. Think back on it!

Personally I like rey mysterio because he shows real courage, being smaller than all other wrestlers and still fighting them!

No, he's not. He's an amazing, courageous wrestler. Very talented. Why would you say charity case? Because of E.G.? No way. People loved him just as much before Eddie died.

He is a charity case no doubt. But I, too agree that he was too good for the cruiserwieght title & too lacklustre for the WWE title.
He should be wrestling for the US championship or the Tag Team title or for some good storyline but definately not beyond that.

He's a high-flier and usually wrestles an exciting match. Plus, everyone loves an underdog.

ya I don't like him as a World Heavyweight Champion.................
He can't save the dignity of the tittle...................
but if he's LightweightChampion, it's cool or any other tittle is ok on him.
He is good though, he has got the fighting spirit...................
and some times beats the **** out of almost the double sized wrestlers!
