Star Jones sideswiped the rest of her co-stars by suddenly announcing that her contract has not been renewed and that she will not be coming back onto "The View" next season. ABC and the producers of the show got ticked off by her attitude and axed her from the remainder of her contract the next morning, sending Barbara Walters out to make the announcement to the rest of the media.

Well she suprsied everyone when she annouced that she would no longer be returning to the view for it's 10 th season. And the next day she didn't come back, apparently because she was fired.
