Need value of : basketball: '04-05 fleer showcase Allen Iverson #3(legacy collection 11/125), '04-05 showcase Rafael Araujo #114(488/699), '03-04 Upper Deck Rookie Exclusives Steve Nash game-used jersey #j33. and football: Playoff Prestige 2005 #67 Trent Green(13/50 Xtra Points). I also was wondering, I think it was in 1997, my hubby and I bought a pack of Playoff Contenders. We pulled a Barry Sanders Gold 1/1. We sold it a few weeks later for $1600.00. Should we have kept it? Or did we sell at the right time? I know certain cards you have to sell quickly or the value will go down (after they've been out for a while) Thank you for your help!

The value of most cards fluctuates. When they first come out, their all the rage, so selling quickly is good. After they lose their fad, they fade in value and popularity, and most stay that way, but a select few will go back up after a slump and continue to rise like a fine wine or a vintage car. check out the value of the first print card of Jordan taken at the moment of the slam dunk that tipped his first championship game. Nobody knew it would be as valuable as it is back when the card came out, right? Trading cards is more than just the cards. It's about following the rising stars and getting the cards that capture those perfect moments, and holding onto them for life. Theres true value, if you can predict them correctly ... Good luck. you'll need it!
