The Moral Animal by Robert Wright (non-fiction). I love the way his mind works and his use of the English language. Even if I don't, initially, agree with him, he is usually able to argue his point convincingly, which turns me on. As for the Answerer who was insulted by your use of "ur" or "fav"....she needs to lighten up and get a life. People have been using abbreviated words for centuries. Ship radio operators used "ur" all the time during WWII and after. I know, I was a radio operator. It was a commonly used abbreviation. Don't let your feelings be hurt by this person.

My all time fav is Count of Montecristo by Alexander Dumas. Its about a young French sailor who was unjustly imprisoned for 14 years before he escapes and ultimately takes revenge on his enemies. The author did a great job describing the emotions of the prisoner.Disbelief, denial, self pity, madness, apathy and finally hope.

However my current fav is Dresden file book series by Jim Butcher. There are 8 books in the series beginning with stormfront. It narrates the story of Harry Dresden, chicago's only professional wizard who works as a detective. He stands between the general population who is ignorant about the supernatural world and the monsters-vampires,werewolves,fey.He is aided by Bob,a talking skull.Karrin Murphy-a police officer and Thomas-a white court vampire.

I don't have a favorite because it's so hard to pick just one. I love the Harry Potter series because it is so mysterious, exciting, and they are just fascinating books. I wonder who will die? It needs to come out soon! Those are my favorite books. The movies are also really good. But, if I had to pick one I would say that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is my favorite book of the series, so far. I hope this helps you.

I can't pick one, but I love Franny and Zooey, Catcher in the Rye, and Sophie's Choice. They all had something important to say and made a huge impression on me. Oh, and Charlotte's Web-- it is a classic. And a book I read more recently that I just loved was The Time Travelers Wife

Other than the Holy Bible, because it offers hope for this life and the next, it is difficult to say one book is an all-time favorite. I love anything written by Dan Brown, John Grisham, J.D. Salinger, among many many others. Why? Because it offers me an opportunity to extend my learning. Besides, often reading shows me the correct way of spelling and writing that most of humanity can comprehend.

Ones that insult idiots like you. Ur doesn't mean anything... Your means something, but it's different that You're, like You're an idiot, and these are your shoes. Fav means nothing too, Favorite means something, like my favorite books are the ones that insult idiots like you.
Other than that, Harry Potter, because it kicks all around ***.

Personally my two favourite books are Lord of the Rings and Catcher in the Rye. Catcher was the only book I read in school that I actually enjoyed.

The Grapes Of Wrath, good solid classic story with a great tale about a time in American History (Depression, Dust Bowl).

Ignore Ooh Rah, it would seem to me that someone who will insult a person will at least insult correctly, because it's only makes them look dumb when they makes mistakes on trying to correct someone else's. " It's different that You're". I think she may have meant... It's different FROM you're. : D Goes to show one should not call another person an idiot when they themselves clearly look like one.
