how do i make a movie,?

what is the step on doing it,
how to make the movie can be play on dvd player..

Before you make your movie... decide what it is going to be about.. and how it is going to be made..

if other people are going to be in your movie.. you will need a signed release from them giving you permission to use the video of them.. or from their parents if they are not 18 yet..

Make up a story-board with the scenes layed out so you can get organized for sets... you can draw crude pictures for major scenes... this will help you determine how people will be dressed, etc....

design your script.. if you need it.. after all the planning is done.. go out and record your video.... hopefully on a digital camcorder so you can easily get it onto your computer...

then.. capture your video onto your computer...

after you get your video into the computer.. you will want to edit it.. cut out some of the mistakes... re-arrange some of the scenes... maybe add some background music.. or add titles ... what you can do.. and how big the movie can be depends upon your software and your computer.

I like Pinnacle software.. it is very powerful video editing software.. also a bit expensive.. but I won it so it was free for me... you can also use Windows Movie Maker.. or if that is not good enough.. try Serif's Movie program.. it costs a lot less and is ok... there are many many programs to capture your video from your camera into the computer.....

when you have the movie the way you want it.. you publish it to DVD by burning the DVD.. as a video DVD.. not data

I would also suggest that you burn a data dvd so that you can come back later and make modifications from the original data.. a good backup practice makes it nice if your hard-drive gets messed up!! hehe

There are several ways to go about it.

1) get a flash maker. You can upload videos, or make animation.
2) use windows media maker: comes standered wtih windows, best version is on the XP. This is a bit cheesy, but it works.

Eithier way, to get it to play on a DVD player, when you go to put in on a CD, be sure that your burning it to a DVD.
If you put it on a regular CD (CD-R, or CD-RW) it will only play on the computer.
DVD's also come in writeable and re-writable liek the CD's, you just need to fidn them.
