I am translating a document from English into an Indian language. I am translating by viewing and understanding the English text and then deleting the same as it is not required in the translated file. I don't have any problem in most of the places but there are some instances where the translated text which spills to the next line does not move to the extreme left side as it should go normally. I selected this text and then pressed Align left but it does not work. Surprisingly, I can set this text in centre or the extreme right side but not on the extreme left side, where it should be.

How can I get rid of this problem. Thanks so much in advance.

Thanks for your answer. How can I access my auto indent?

sounds like you have your Auto-indent turned on... check your settings... auto-indent will wrap a long line like in an outline.. and indent it instead of going to the left margin.

check your document type settings... formal, casual.. etc.. some of them have imbedded Style formats.
