Only people who are educated and are able to handle the stresses of being a president should be presidents.
Do you want someone with education and with at least some insight as to how to run a country?? Or do you want some high school dropout or drug addict to run your country. Yes , if you have education and you think you have what it takes and you are a citizen of that country, yes you should have an opportunity. Frankly, I like the US's way of election, even if it is not fullproof (or even "foolproof").
Yes I know that our way is not perfect, and it may not be the best, but we have an opportunity to vote every 4 years and change the course of direction when we must. I love Democracy.

Not sure what you mean. There are a few rules when choosing a presidential candidate eg you have to be a citizen of the country ( no dual citizenships), you have to be over a certain age ( i sure dont want a 23 year old in office), you have to physically and mentally fit for obvious reasons. I think that the idea of every person having an equal chance is theoretically good, but i sure dont want an average Joe leading my country. I want an above average leader.

If my past wasn't so dirty- I would love to be president. I am a Christian now, but I used to be a bad person. I could set a few things straight. I would have been a little harder on Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. If I had to put troops in a country, i would not play with politics. I would wipe it clean, and change it forever. I would not care what the world thought. If i had to send American men into a country. I would fix it so it would never have to be done again. If Islam was a problem before-it would not be when I got finished.

No. Some people are mentally unstable, and would not make prudent choices if put in a position of power. Just look at North Korea. Like it or not, all persons are NOT equal. Some are just better prepared to do certain jobs, and others will become criminals.

Yes. Some have said that we do in America, and in a true democracy we would, however a true democracy has never existed and will not because of the inevitable inequalities that will exist in any society. Therefore, although we should have an equal chance, reality dictates that it will never happen.

Well, maybe not EVERY person (which would include criminals, mentally handicaped and badly educated people).
But in general everyone who is a citizen, over 40 years old, physically and mentally fit and without criminal record should be eligible.

yes, i also think that when each person is born they should inherit 1 million dollars. they can't get it until 18, but you know their parents are rich so no problem. this may stop all the poverty in the US.
