The best single person would have to be Freddie Mercury. His voice was incredible and his stage presence is still unmatched to this day.
As for bands or groups, I'd have to say Pearl Jam. Their show is so unique, and unlike a lot of bands, they don't play the same show day in and day out. Check out the setlists from any tour they've put on, it'll change drastically for every show. Plus, doing their versions of classic songs, they really know how to work a crowd.

Believe it or not, Barry Manilow is a hoot in concert! The whole audience sings along; he talks about his background with Bette and he pokes fun at himself. Rod Stewart, Marcia Ball, and Harry Connick put on a great show too!
Best group--tougher. . . Chicago, Fleetwood Mac, Santana, Grateful Dead, ELO, Frampton, Blues Traveller, Stones, Little Nathan and the Zydeco ChaChas, Suzanne Cianni, Yanni, . . . WHEW!

Believe it or not it's Wayne Newton as far as money goes and talent. He's a master of many instruments.
Santana is fantastic in concert though.

i'd say U2, the Rolling stones (even if they're old, Jagger doesn't stop moving from one way to another)...also Jean-Louis Aubert, a french rocker and.........i guess Madonna can be quiet good ....and I was in transe with la Mano Negra and a sound system with Asian dub foundation

I'm sorry but the Ozzy /Black Sabbith Reunion was the best concert EVER!!! I wasn't expecting it to be all that-but it was AWESOME!
