Riddle me this. The USSR was the United Soviet Socialist Republic, right? Right now, the entire mainstream political spectrum in the United States is sliding left, the Democrats and Republicans acting in unison to destroy the republic. A Democrat Socialist is usually referred to as a Progressive, a Populist, or some other misnomer, so my question is this - Is a Socialist Republican a.............. Soviet? The Republic is Dead, Long Live the Empire!

the entire political spectrum is sliding left? hmmmmmm...Separation of church and state, the abortion issue, continued war for oil, the popularity of Ann Coulter, a republican controlled executive, judicial, and legislative branches of government, health care not available for many people, infant mortality rate that rivals a third world country...care to back up that assertion with some examples? Oh, I almost forgot the opportunity for making dollars off contracts to rebuild communities, communities that we destroy. Capitalism at it's finest
