These files are found within the directory for the game Zoo Tycoon. They might be levels in the game, video files or some other type of files that can only be opened from within the game.

You need to have zoo tycoon or zoo tycoon2. How did you get the files without having the program?

They are similar to zipped files. They are compressed files that are used in the setup of your Zoo Tycoon game. You cant open them. The only way to open them is if your setup program for zoo tycoon decompresses the files during their installation process.

You might want to try and download/install http://www.download-zone-free.com/winrar/ I know they decompress extensions that start with .r01 and .r02 files, so if they are the same format, then you might be able to use that.

Your files are a compressed form. It has been compressed using some special utility. You can try UHARC decompresor or UnAce decompressor to decompress the files. Probable you downloaded the game from somewhere. So I suggest that you re-check the place where you found the links for downloading for more instruction.
If you got them on CD, then the decompressor will be on the CD.

Is that a game? i think that it is monoploy tycoon. not positive but i believe that they are files to that game.

word of caution. you might not want to go around willy nilly opening files that you don't know what they go to. you just could get a nasty suprise in other words be careful

whoever you got these files from should also have a program for decompressing these files (assuming they are not level files as others have said) If you can't reach him\her go get the original game for yourself (yes, pay for it! pirating is ILLEGAL for a reason!)

They might be splits of one larger file... are they all the same size (except maybe the last one)?
