Sometimes there is a distinct difference between romantic love and friendship and other times the lines are blurred. Friends are people whom you like and trust. You share similar interests and enjoy each other's company, not unlike love. However, love is more complicated. Love has all of the qualities of friendship (or at least it should) in addition to the physical desire towards someone. Friendship is the platonic form of love and it has all of the potential to become romantic love, but it ultimately depends on the feelings between the two people. There are also those who share a romantic relationship without the friendship, but I would not call it love, but rather lust. The physical chemistry is present, but it lacks the deep bond and intimacy that comes with friendship.

for me friendship is the most important courting someone could have in his existence. ..i imagine the version between friendship and love is that love is the sensation that you're sharing w/ your acquaintances loved ones and for those individual you cared for yet friendship is the courting you're providing to at least one individual..

When you´re in LOVE you really can tell!!!
Friendship has not the nervous baggage of love! (butterflies in stomach, or sweating hands, or not having hungry, or whatever the symptoms you can relate to nervous reactions)

Love is when you care about someone so much that you'll feel all so empty without him/her. A day without his/her presence will make you fall in despair and feel not like doing anything. You'll do anything for him/her even to sacrifice your happiness (not always, but at most), You'd even share almost everything to him/her.
Friendship is when you care about someone, but you won't sacrifice much for him/her. You just care and want to share small things of your life.
