I'd like to 'go green' with my car engine. I am interested in engine conversion and would like to know if there are kits available to do this.

Yes, you can always get a diesel engine, and fill up with Bio Diesel (nothing special to do, just have a diesel engine).
There’s compressed air, there’s solar / batteries == electric, there’s so many to pick from…
The real Q is CAN you afford it off gate LOL!
I have been wanting a diesel truck for like 3 years now, so far I had to settle for a 49cc scooter (LOL no money for tags, license, insurance, it was the cheapest way to go, and the gas is dirt cheap 82 miles per gallon Hehehehe, and the scooter even in the rain with rain gear on is better then our local city bus any day, we desperately need better public transportation where I LIVE!)

Public transport, hehe. But if you want to convert your car, I think that is not as easy as put a "kit". You can use biodiesel if available, but if the car is a diesel one and also you cannot put more than 20 % of mixture on a non prepared engine. Or purchase an electric or hybrid car.
