Buy a product called 'Bikini Zone', it prevents and takes away redness, irritation and bumps around your bikini area!

Use either really good moisturing soap or shaving cream. And make sure that you're using a new razor. Dull razors will not only be harder to use, but increase chance of razor burn ( & cuts).
Also, it's best to take a warm/hot shower first.

Shave in the direction the hair grows rather than against it. Use a good razor and shaving cream. Shave after you've been in the shower for a few minutes so your pores are more open. I've never tried the nair type stuff, you might try it.

Cool water, a fresh razor, and I personally use a vitamin E lotion to keep redness and razor burn to a minimum. Works for me. Then again, I don't have super sensitive skin.

Nair, waxing, or if you must shave....shave in the direction the hair grows. Use plenty of shaving cream and you should be ok.
