Next year with Timmy Tebow at the helm of Urban Meyer's offense, my pick is Florida. But Chris Leak is just not mobile enough to be active in the spread-option. He's suited more for a WCO when he gets in the NFL as he just can't run well in a shotgun-offense. The team is good but Caldwell will emerge as a great replacement for Chad Jackson.
South Carolina has a chance to surprise most people. But Steve Spurrier needs a QB as Blake Mitchell is tough but just not good enough. Sidney Rice is a stud at WR and the defense is up to snuff.
LSU again inherits another good-looking team. JaMarcus Russell is a great leader and is very Byron Leftwich-like in my eyes. Can he lead the team TO though SEC Championship game? Very likely and I expect big things out of the squad this year. Addai is a loss but LaRon Landry returns to an already great D.
Auburn is my personal favorite to take it all this year, but LSU may edge them out. They do lose 2 good recievers in Aromashodu and Obomanu but keep perhaps the best RB in the SEC, Kenny Irons. Brandon Cox is developing and is looking great in terms of being the heir to Jason Campbell. Can they win? Yes, favorable schedule but they need to beat LSU on September 16th.
Tennessee is always favored to be a great sleeper team and now that Fulmer gets his QB coach back (name slips my mind) but he made Shuler, Manning and Tee Martin into respectable QBs. Ainge should make small improvements but is his confidence/desire, there?
My pick, LSU or Auburn.

LSU... They have in my opinion the countries best QB in JaMarcus Russell. I like they're experienced secondary, and they have one of the fastest receiving and tailback units you can find. If they can get past a few road games at Florida and Auburn, they will take the conference title and compete for the national title. They have 4 of the first 5 games in Baton Rouge, which more than likely will be the toughest place to play this year for visitors. I think this will provide momentum heading into the rest of the schedule. All the pieces are in place. Auburn I think will struggle at receiver and have to rely on Kenny Irons to much and wont have good enough balance. They have a great defense returning, but will that cary them through??? As far as Bama they wont find a leader at QB quick enough to be in contention. Will it be Wilson or Gullion??? Not to mention they play Florida, Tennessee, LSU and Arkansas all on the road.

I predict that Auburn will not only win the SEC, but also the national championship game.
That said, the SEC is always hit or miss---for example, Florida beat UGA and Tennessee, but lost to So Carolina, Alabama and LSU last year. Similarly, though So Carolina beat UF and Tennessee, they lost to GA, Bama, Ark, and Auburn. This is the toughest conference Top to Bottom, without a doubt!!!!!!

I think either Alabama or Gerogia will win, even though I am an Ole Miss fan. I hope Tennessee doesnt win. I wonder if Fulmer will go to Bama when they play each other or if he will be "sick" that day?

I'm thinking Auburn. They are at a point in the program where they just reload. Plus a favorable home schedule.

I don't think either of them will win it. I'd have to say either LSU, or Georgia.
