Georgetown is a top 20 school according to most college rankings. It is the second highest rated Catholic University in the US (just behind Notre Dame).

I know this is not an answer to your question, but I also am trying really hard to get into Georgetown.
Right now I'm up in Virginia visting family and on Friday I went on a guided tour and inofromation session about the university. It's really tough to get into, they told us about only 22% of the the students who apply to go there are accepeted. Its an swesome campus though

Yes, it's a very good school, especially if you're interested in politics, international relations, etc.
