Yes, because the other day I had a Mentos mint in my mouth and took a drink of Diet Coke and the chemical reaction spewed out my nostrils for about 6 feet. DON'T try this at home! If I hadn't slept through chemistry class in high school, perhaps my date's dress wouldn't have been ruined...

Just look at my source to see what can be done with Diet Coke & Mentos. Look at the first one to get an idea of how it works, then check out the second one for an example of taking things to the extreme.

chemistry is the reason you have the life you do. the plastic that holds your soda, the gasoline that powers your car, the medicine that you take, the alcohol you drink.

its all due to chemistry, and industrious (or lucky) chemists

without chemistry you wouldn't be here. your body couldn't digest food, you couldn't contract your muscles, you couldn't chew. everything comes down to chemistry. without chemistry the plants couldn't grow, you wouldn't have medicine.
