Would you rather have your kid turn out gay or a drug addict?

Serious question, two options. Reasons welcome...

PEOPLE: I'm not saying I want my kids to be gay or drug addicts, I'm merely measuring prejudice... relax

no matter what some believe about gays not being a choice is just another inconvenient truth that alludes them. because there's no difference between the 2 choices you offer. id love & support them if they were a gay drug addict. both lifestyles are no less unhealthy by similar parameters. if you have a pack a day cig habit you can live to 90. gay men who practice the lifestyle run higher risks than their hetero counter parts. i do believe in individual choice and pref, God gives each one sovereign will.

Gay because you can live a happy, healthy productive life AND be gay at the same time, you can't while being a drug addict (and I'm using drug adict meaning in the worst way possible), being gay doesn't hurt the people around you, it doesn't make you want to steal or hurt anybody to get your "fix" of gayness, I'm watching how my brother-in-law is tearing up his family with his drug addiction, and I just can't imagine anyone causing this much pain and upset to their families by being GAY.

If I ever had kids- gay. Because there is nothing wrong or detrimental about that. Meanwhile, the drug addict will have serious issues to deal with in life and may end up dead.

Gay, personally I find nothing wrong with homosexuality. A drug addict on the other hand would be a nightmare.

gay. drug addictions are VERY hard to overcome. so people dont make it thru the addiction alive. and even if u are not doing the drugs anymore u still have to deal with the health problems, money problems and the addiction that never goes away.

Definatly gay, I mean at least they would still be normal and happy and be able to live there life without the possibly of dying, going to jail, doing something completely crazy like stealing...killing for money/drugs whatever. Who cares if your kid is gay wouldnt you rather see them happy and normal rather then f***** up all the time.....

Gay. Any day. Drug addictions aren't always cured. There is nothing wrong with being gay. In fact, if I ever HAVE a child, I would be proud if they were gay.

Things like cocaine and heroine are NOT easily cured. That stuff is still in your blood. Even if you are clean, you still crave it.

I would have to say gay because a drug addict would kill themselves pretty quickly.

You probably shouldn't have children.
