I think that cigarette smoke is more dangerous than many forms of smoke is that the smoke particle is very small and can lodge deep in one's lungs. Then it becomes very hard for the body to get rid if it.

While it is their it can cause some damage. How it damages I'm not sure. Could be that the particle simply be pressure. The other problem is it could interact chemically. It has tars and goo. This could directly cause tissue damage. I don't know which it would be.

TTS (Toxix Tobacco Smoke) is the result of the numerous chemicals within a cigarette and is responsible for many illnesses, including Sudden Infant Death, Asthma, premature births, low baby weight, breast cancer, lung disease, heart disease and eye irritation.

What I just read on this site, I wonder just how many smokers are aware of the dangers? I don't smoke, but my son does, though he does not smoke in the house (my rules).
