I think that it all depends on the style of the glasses. Some glasses look more "intelligent" on people than others. I do have to say, however, that some glasses do make people LOOK more intelligent, but once you've gotten yourself into a conversation you might be in a little trouble if you can't back up your appearance. Looks aren't everything...

Eye glasses do not make people intelligent. They are just something to help people see better. Some people do look better with glasses than without, just like some men look better with a beard than without.

I think people treat me like I am more intelligent since I have been wearing my glasses. I'm blonde...so I always had sort-of a hard time with people taking me seriously. But now that I wear glasses I feel like I get treated differently sometimes (for the better). I've been wearing them for probably 10 years now.

Not particularly. I wear glasses and I'd have to say I don't look any more intelligent than the next person. And then there are those people who wear eye glasses and then open their mouth and show how dippy they are. One of the dumbest people I know wears eye glasses.

Good question. Not usually, but the thinner the glasses I think the more intelligent the person.

Because on tv shows people think you are a piondexter because eye glasses don't make every body look good .

Sometimes yes and sometimes know. It really depends on the whole picture not one piece of it. Glasses really show a sort of weakness.

However, I believe the perspective is yours. Apparently you are the one who thinks they look more intelligent.
