I am a registered nurse in a hospital on an Oncology Unit. I went to a 2 year jounior college and graduated with an associates in applied science degree in nursing. I had to pass a state board exam and in order to work in my area, I had to become chemotherapy certified by the hospital I work for and I take yearly, continuing education in nursing subjects. I am CPR certified every 2 years as well with the option to do further advanced cardiac life support and become oncology certified. If I choose to go on in my field, the hospital offers continuing education monies to go on to college.
I love my career. I cannot see myself doing anything else. It is very rewarding.
Oh, I make $26 bucks an hour.

I am a high school math teacher during the school year, and that requires many college classes. I love teaching!
During the summer, I work as an administrative assistant for the U.S. government. I don't mind this job; there are a lot of sow days, so it gets pretty boring really quick. I was informed that this job was for high school G.E.D., but I get paid more than what is asked because I have a college degree.
