What is the best way to apologize to your best friend?

I said to her "call me when you remove your head from your boyfriends a**" I feel really bad about it. I tried to call her to apologize but she doesn't want to talk to me. I left her a message telling her that I was sorry and I still have not gotten a response. Please help

Well it's her fault that she's not taking care of u, but still she's ur best friend. You should tell her what u think about her being with her boyfriend and taking you for granted. She should divide her time between you and him. Call her again and again and go to her house if that's needed and apologise again to her. You'll see she'll also apologise to you. Gudluck

If you have already left a message apologizing I would give her a few days to cool down.

Then send her a note telling her how much her friendship has meant to you over the years and that you feel bad for hurting her. Ask her to forgive you and to give you another chance.

If that doesn't work, I'd look for a new bf.

Also search your heart. Do you feel guilty because what you said was wrong? or because you hurt someone you care about? Then the next time a disagreement comes along try to handle it better. Believe me, we all make mistakes!

About a week ago I went through a similar situation with a best friend. I've been knowing her for 16 years and we never got into in verbal or physical altercation. It was so petty and minor. I was so deeply hurt on the fact of how she could take me so seriously and she is or was my best friend. " I thought she should have known me better by now. Your best friend seems to me that she wants to end your relationship and for her to get upset over something that is so silly. I suggest you stop calling and find you another friend. You got better things to do than to beg someone that is strung out. Good Luck!

I suggest that you write her a letter. Everyone loves a written letter, because it shows that you actually took the time to do it and actually thought carefully about what you were going to say. Don't just send her short notes saying "I'm really sorry!" but take the time to carefully think about what you've done and express your regret in a nicely written letter (and make sure you don't write it hastily either). I'm sure that she'll forgive you (or at least appreciate your efforts in writing a letter).

I don´t know how old are the two of you but anyway it was not nice thing to tell her (though, I appreciate that honesty of yours), but go to her house, ask her to sit and talk with you and if you´re really sorry - say so again, messages mean nothing with such matters.

Give her time... sit down and write her a note.. mail it to her and wait for the reply. She will get over it in time.. if not..then another friend will come along... u know they come a dime a dozen. But a true friend will accept your apologize and move on.
