through their social programs , controls on guns, medicine and taxes, the dismantling of our military, immigration and the making of america a mediocre nation, more taxes and controls on every aspect of your life....in other words..they think socialism isnt a bad thing...this will bring our country economically to its downfall...thus paving the way for the united nations to step in and run us....

we must not let this happen...agree or disagree...????

A global military socialism wouldn't be so bad. A person would have to earn their citizenship. Doesn't that make sense. Why should someone be a citizen, with all the rights that entails, just for being born? Wouldn't that make for more responsible public? The government would force multi-national corporations to comply with health and pollution standards. Dangerous criminals would be executed instead of pampered for 30 or 40 years. What would be the point of affirmative action if everyone had to earn their place? In a world where privilege cannot be bestowed, but can only be earned, wouldn't men of all tribes be truly equal?

I understand what you’re saying; I do agree somewhat, but is there really a difference between Dems and Reps? Aside from a few pet issues aren't the two parties essentially the same? Our government has ceased being "For the People" and become for the dollar. The American people are being herded from Pandora to panacea and back. One thing old age has taught me is don’t make knee-jerk decisions like many of my fellow posters here on this board. Listen to the other person’s opinions and glean the positive from them. By the way, weren’t the early Christians Socialists anyway? Acts 4:34&35: “ There were no needy persons among them. Disagree....Democrats want to help people and try and do whats best for everyone. Taxes are here to stay...get used to it. Wouldn't you like your tax dollars to go to something that will help people rather than line the pockets of the rich? Republicans just look out for themselves and don't care who they trample on to get to the top.
