I am not a techie, but this is my opinion. It think that technology could make the lives of senior citizens better. My parents are in there early 70's, yet they want to know more about computers and how to use them. It is hard to explain to them how they work. They have e-mail address, but I keep track of it and know there passwords. It would be nice if technology can simplified itself to make so that an elderly person can keep up too. They hear about on the news and they want to be a part of it. But they are scared and don't know how to go about it. They think it is too complicated. Not only with computers, but with telephones, automated systems, ATM, ( some elderly people still write checks at stores, etc). Just make it so they can keep up with what is going on. If you can teach a child how to work a computer, you should be able to teach anybody, no matter what age they are.

When I am working all day long in front of the computer, doing a lot of stuff seriously and suddenly I am tired and cannot do no more, PLEASE WAKE ME UP, TRY TO CHANGE MY STATE OF MIND. This is without my intervention, the computer should know and understand the state I am in. A bit far fetch, but still express-able. thanks

solid state hard drives, not a glass circle spinning 5200 to 10000 RPM's, programmable cards that you can make into anything, instead of having a certain card do something, it should be a card you program for what you want it to do. a new material other than silica that can make circuits 1/2 as big as they are now, processors that conduct no heat, impulse directed mice and keyboards that you just lay a finger on and it reads what you want to do, or what key your pressing.ANOTHER OS OTHER THAN WINDOWS!!!!!!!!!
