As humans, we all make mistakes. Primarily because no one is perfect in a imperfect world. Some humans can actually learn from their mistakes and try not to repeat the same mistake twice. But this isn't always so easy and some of us learn quicker than others.
When I was younger, I had a fixsation on being married and having children and living happy ever after...so I thought. I dated a man for 11 1/2 yrs. and he didn't want marriage at all, although his signals told me differently. After we broke up, I jumped into another relationship and that failed. I was hurt both times and devistated. But did I learn? No..I got involved with 3 other guys. After all that hurt and disappointment, I realized that everyone isn't meant for marriage.
Now I am much more calmer about my life, and feel much more settled too! I have come to accept my life for what it is, not how I wished it should or could be.
What about you, can you think of any mistakes that you made that taught you a valueable lesson? What was it and how did it turn out for you in the end?

There's not ont that sticks out in particular, but I make it a point to learn from all my mistakes. I never regret anything I do...Just take everything as a lesson learned and add them to your list of experiences...Just don't walk through the same door twice if you know there's nothin good on the other end.

My biggest mistake was when me and my ex got an apt together...and i was taught to always trust your instincts never let someone manipulate you.... my ex b/f was doing drugs behind my back and that is a big no no to me.... and he lied and lied about it until i caught him red handed and then when i told him i was leaving he slit his wrist.... never ever trust someone when you know the truth already... but in the end i met the most wonderful guy and if my ex wouldnt have done that at that very moment who knows if i would have met my b/f now.... everything happens for a reason

i learned over the years that you get redo's. you know how when you do something wrong or say something mean, or tell a lie? every time you say "man if i could do that over again, or i wish i would have said that differently". well, i believe that the chance always comes back around for you to make it right. i call them redo's.
