I hate to say this but if he is scolding you all the time are you sure he won't fire you before you leave even? I think you should have had an idea of the amount of work you would be doing before took the position. All jobs have their ups and downs so don't expect a nice boss as bossess are bosses . IF you feel your boss is unfair and since you are thinking to leave, why not have a meeting with him. It might just help. If you are willing to leave your job then you haven't anything to lose by talking to him about it. If you are not happy at all, then look for another position but don't put your hopes too high for an easier job, maybe your new boss will treat you better at least.

I would try talking to your boss first to see what is going on. Then if it doesn't get any better, I would definitely start looking for another job. You shouldn't quit before finding a new job unless you have a nice savings to hold you over for awhile. Also, try praying for your boss because he may be going through something and needs your help. My boss used to do the same thing and then I started praying for her and I like my job again! Good Luck!

See if you can get to PALA in Bangkok. 20th to 22nd July. Big lighting tradeshow. Stop off at a few stands, get a feel for the other AV companies in the region. Make a few contacts within the industry & find out if they're hiring.

QUIT!

or stay on. on just do what you're supposed to do. not too much.

then get involved, by the side, in a successful organisation (preferably a public corporation) that itself is involved in the 3 Power Trends driving the world right now:
- the Internet
- products used by the "Baby Boomer" population
- & true GLOBAL Distribution!!

at the moment i am the only one involved in S'pore (& legally)...yet I work with many who are overseas.
(in fact, many countries/states are virgin markets!)
Point is...Anybody Anywhere can do it...and get paid in their local currency.

with this company you can be the one to open markets up...easily.
its a 1-of-a-kind online management system.

only once in every 10-20 years does one chance upon a company going into momentum phase of this magnitude!
...like buying into Microsoft stock before Windows was invented.

You gotta see it for yourself!
Peace.

This is something that you may need to figure out for yourself... Is this job going to take you anywhere.. Is there room for advancement? Maybe if you give it a little more time your boss will grow on you and you may even become friends some day.

I did five years in prison when my boss told me I should go back to Puertorico where they don't work. I busted him up pretty bad and put him in the hospital and had to pay his medical bills too and I got time for it. My advice for you is too dont get mad. Take it from me. it gets you know where. Find another job with a nicer boss.

Has it occurred to you that if he criticizes you may not ask, nor expect any raise....
I am not familiar with the part of the country you live, but corporate maneuvers are similar where ever you live.
I doubt your job is really in jeopardy, but if your unhappy look around for another one.
You may want to do it any way in case they are trying to document enough to fire you..
that's life.....Good Luck

You will go through 50 jobs before you find your resting place. It's not worth it if you are not happy. Leave and give em' the finger on the way out!

Keep the job, and start looking for another. It's much easier to find a new job when you're currently employed, than it is to find one when you're unemployed.
