On October 7, 2005, he was arrested in Manhattan on suspicion of possessing cocaine, (BBC Online Report) and appeared in court on 1 February, 2006 (BBC News report). June 17, 2006, Manhattan judge issued a warrant for the arrest of Boy George after the former Culture Club singer failed to appear in court. This was taken back as another court date was set, and George was made to pay his $1000 fine for wasting police time. He has been issued with community service.(The Age) On 28 June, it was reported that George would perform his community service as a garbage collector. (Yahoo News)

Boy George is in trouble because he did not like the community service he was sentenced to. He was sentenced n the first place because police found 13 bags of cocaine in his apartment when he falsely reported a burglary. he paid a fine for that and went to rehab, but didn't want to rake leaves in central park as community service, as he felt he would be hounded by paparazzi.

He received a "scolding" from the judge for not doing community service. As of yesterday, 6/28, Boy George will be doing community service for the sanitation department.

I think he is in trouble for not turning up to do his community service on the grounds that he wrongly thought they would make him wear an orange jumpsuit, which just proves that he is an idiot. Not that we didn't know that already after him calling the police when his house was full of lots of big bags of drugs.

I think he was sentenced to community service in America. George thought he was too famous and it would not be fair so he didn`t turn up for the community service

Being a persistent offender in the crime of "wearing stupid hats". He was lucky, in some less enlightened States, it could've been the electric chair. With a little luck he may move there!!!

Cousin George didn't do his community service in the states so he has to complete it or go to jail.
They wanted him to sweep leaves up or something, he wanted to do something more inspiring for the community!
