no more than a woman is genetically incapable of taking out the trash or cleaning the litter box. i think i'm the woman more than 1/2 the time, heck i do dish's,laundry, clean,(not to good but better than not at all, like she does),cook and the outdoor work while holding a 40+hr job. maybe it's me!!!! some men are raised that way, blame the mom

No, no, it's not genetic. But why should we?After all, IT"S YOUR JOB!!! Are women genetically incapable of changing (or even checking) the oil in the car? Changing the damn light bulb? Mowing the lawn? Killing that spider? Fixing that drip? Using a remote control correctly? Come on honey, we're tired.

Affirmative! This appears to be an epidemic across the globe! I suggest you remedy this problem with an immediate slap across the back of the head. Just Kidding! But, really, buy one of those long, extended mechanical picker-upper things. Pinch you nose with a close pin. Then grab a waste paper basket. Now, right in front of him; pick up his dirty socks with it and throw them away!

O I have to say yes! My husband not only leaves socks every wear but apparantly has some kind of laundry basket phobia. The clothes make it no less than 2 feet away! It is physically impossible for him to actually lift them up and over into the basket! Unreal!!! What would they do without us?

I'm going to claim it's genetics. It's also the same gene that accounts for "skid" marks in the underwear!

hahahahahah....OMG this question has me in tears. Ok, ok....while i am sure my wife would yell screaming at the top of her lungs with a brass band behind her....YESSSSSSS!!! while pointing in my direction. Id say no...its not genetic. I think women and men just think differently. Men see the sock....see its only been worn once and go in their heads "ok, i wore it once....just in case i run out of socks, lets leave it there just in case". Women see the sock....and go "&##$@#!@!##!@!@##!@!!@!!!!!".

yes along with towels. they seem to have problems with empty soda cans and old newspapers also. hey i take out the trash, clean the litter box, change bulbs, and i taught him to use the remote(it required the reading of directions!). though to be fair my hubby also works 60+ hours every week.
