It is difficult to understand what you are asking, but without more information from you, I suppose it would depend on your audience and on your purpose.

For instance, if your exhbit is on a sales floor, you might describe each piece, its materials and the manufacturing process. You could go even further to expound on the philosphy of the designers & manufacturers of each piece, and then explain why the pieces work together as one ensemble.

If your exhibit is in a museum, you may want to show how each piece was acquired, or why it is important in the history of design, manufacturing, or decorating.

the furniture is set up and people walk around and look at the furniture . there may be a description of the furniture pieces on display.
