there is nothing wrong with being happy and feeling confident in your marriage and wanting to share that with the world. i personally think star should have stayed and the view should have chosen someone else besides rosie, the view knew of the conflict between star and rosie , i just want to say GOOD LUCK AND GO STAR!

I'm with you,Jamie. I think the only reason they hired Rosie in the first place was so that Star would leave! They knew the two didn't get along,but did they care? No! I have a feeling that once Rosie joins the show and starts spouting off her lesbian viewpoints,they'll get tired of that pretty quick! Star may have the last laugh yet!

I really don't see why people are making a big deal with Rosie, So she speaks her mind so what she has been doing that for years. That is how she got where she is today. If people cant handle that then they can change the channel. I never really liked star too much.
About the whole marriage thing? Good for her! I just don't think we need to hear about it 24/7. No one cares all that much anymore, She just sound's like she is bragging all that time.
The whole weight loss thing i would applaud her more if she would have lost the weight her self and not pay some one to make her do it. I admit she was pretty big but she could still move and be active.
You really didn't post a question either. That's fine at least your priority's are in order.

I think Star lost too much weight. I applaud the weight loss, but when it's too much...looks like her eyeballs are going to pop outta her head!! And enough with the wedding already! Everyone knows everything that went on and it's not like the whole world was invited. She'll find something else to do with herself. When one door closes, another opens up (but I am kinda hoping "The View" door hits her in the *** on her way out, lol)

I agree. I think the View was hating on Star because she was getting more press than show. She went out on her own accord. Rosie is just hating because she lost weight. Whether by surgery or on her own. What difference does it make. Keep your head up Star.

I am all for people losing weight... BUT they need to stop when body parts get out of proportion with other body parts. She looks like one of those bobblehead dolls now. When she goes under the knife again, she needs to see if they can put a spring in her neck or something. Also about her wedding... hasn't she been gainfully employed for the last 9 years???? Not only on the View, but didn't she hock shoes or something? Why did she have to beg for a free wedding??? She just became tacky, in more ways than one.

I had the unpleasant experience of seeing Star Jones coming out to the Ivy in LA in 2005. It was so strange, she had her hanger-ons and she did the kiss kiss then the wave to the crowd. People weren't really admiring her they we're just watching her show off. That's LA. What a farse. She got to big for her britches, shes no Oprah. Besides TV journalist shouldn't become celebrities. They are a bunch of hams.

The biggest reason Star Jones got booted from the view was her violation of plugola/payola laws regarding getting things for free in exchange for plugs or advertising mentions on the broadcast airwaves. Her whole wedding was paid for by her telling people if you give me this for free, I'll tell everyone on national TV that I got it from you. As a lawyer she should have known better. Her diva attitude and her head got to big. Good ridance.

I agree 100% with the poster above - Star was doing illegal things. And she is nowhere near a big enough "star" to get away with it. Unlike Oprah.
