Pride. Ego. It is not uncommon for someone with a negative outlook to try and draw others down rather than lift themselves up. It's easier.
Many college educated like to think themselves better than those not in order to explain why they spent all that tuition money and used up four years of their life.
This prejudism is common and not only between those of different levels of education but between an almost endless plethora of socio-economic and geographical situations. This is simply human nature. Man feels the need to substantiate his existence and if he can't find true purpose will substitute a self created ranking system to at least alot himself greater value than others.
Its a shame and it will never fully change. People can eventually evolve to be more accepting of others but they will never be able to consider everyone else as equals...unless they are very religious and have acquired self-actualization.

I see plenty of it from non-academics as well. I don't see the correlation you do. I think it just comes down to there being only about 1% of the population having good sense. This makes it difficult to compile enough data to make any generalizations.
There does seem to be something where, the higher you climb the ladder, the more sense you lose though.

you comprehend the lifeless sea scrolls and etc. yet u comprehend what? there are better than 24000 manuscripts and NO 2 ARE same. and lets communicate abt your bible variations. sure variations. no longer translations. have you learnt that the ascension of jesus became taken out from the bible then positioned back in?? why no longer discover contradictions contained in the quran and attempt to discover one. becos you'll under no circumstances. yet earlier you imagine the verse contained in the quran contradicts itself, do examine the CONTEXT first. and abt the verse you quoted: a million John 2:22 who's the liar? that is the guy who denies that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah). any such guy is the antichrist—he denies the daddy (God) and the Son. 23: no man or woman who denies the Son has the daddy (God). for sure you comprehend no longer something about islam. becos muslims trust that jesus is the messiah. yet jesus isn't god. AND jesus isnt the in person-friendly words SON of god contained in the bible. examine the bible and also you may discover many different prophets also are observed as son of god.

Besides your poor spelling it seems you are jealous of academics. Get some self esteem.
And if it is attempted assault, which means a violent physical or verbal attack, how does one ATTEMPT to assault you but not succeed? Do you read their mind and know they are going to verbally berate you yet they stop and give up because they know they are dealing with an uneducated individual? (I doubt people really come to fists over your lack of education.)

Well, I'd say you could be a poster child for higher learning. Your spelling and grammar are atrocious. This, however, does not make you dumb. Just stupid.
