Does anyone remember who covered the song "Shades of Grey" around 1967-68?

I don't think this version was a big hit but it was a very pretty cover. This version was a bit more upbeat than the Monkees version and the group had a female singer.

Maybe Sandy Posey... she's the only female to have recorded it around that time according to this site...

It wasn't covered back then dumbo, that was when it was released.
