Though his stats don't say it, the best man-to-man cover guy in the NFL is Baltimore's Chris McAlister. He doesn't get INTs but no one covers as well as him. Samari Rolle's presence has even improved McAlister's total game.

Champ Bailey shutting down Marvin Harrison? If you are referring to last year's AFC Wild Card game, then you are wrong. The reason why Harrison's stats were low (4 receptions, 51 yards) is that Reggie Wayne torched Roc Alexander and Stokley was still in the offense (no dual-TEs yet). But Bailey is probably the best INT guy, and is not as superior in coverage than Chris but more physical and better hands.

Ronde' Barber is a great CB.... in the Cover 2. Put him in a 3-4 then the numbers may drop a bit. He's speedy, physical but the Cover-2 is more of a pass-rush D which well makes him a good CB.

Don't forget about guys like Ken Lucas, Chris Gamble, Ty Law, Charles Tillman, Rolle and others.

Well as far as tough man to man coverage and overall good athletic ability and a nose for turning and finding the ball I would say Ronde Barber,Champ Baily then Shawn Springs in that order!!!

I think it's still Champ Bailey. He doesn't have the stats to back that up, but that's mostly because QBs know better than to throw to his part of the field.

Shawn Springs. CB is a tough, tough position man...no one stays on the mountaintop long, and every mistake is magnified.

Champ Bailey. Whoever he stick he can shut that player down. He shut out Marvin Harrison, Randy Moss, and many other great wide outs.
