First: Katie Holmes has gradually been losing her identity with this whole TomKat thing. Even before we heard about the pregnancy, Tom was the one who was quoted more and more, and Katie less and ess. Even then, it seemed to me that Katie's voice was being silenced.
Second: Any new mother will tell you that adjusting to your new lifestyle really requires a tremendous effort on your part, so you probably might not appear to be quite your best self. Add to that the whole madness when you have your baby Scientology-style, and you are definitely not the sparkle of the party you once were.
Third: When would Katie find the time to look relaxed and glowing, what with new motherhood, wedding planning, strict diet and exercise regime and a husband who controls everything you do, say, eat, etc.?
In the end, if you think she's crying for help, all you can do is pray for her. She's the one who decides on her life.

I think people need to come to realize that Katie Holmes is an adult and I think she looks very happy. It's not like Tom Cruise went out and said I am going to go get that girl from Dawsons creek.... no matter what anyone says he could have hooked up with lots and lots of people. Katie Holmes is very smart too. If she wants to believe in the scientoogy she will, if she doesnt than she would be with him. Although I agree that some of tom's antics have been crazy I think that Katie is happy where she is at because that is the direction she chose to take herself in.

She sure does! I'm hoping and praying that she can leave Tom and his Scientology crowd someday, and live a normal life again. Trouble is, it would be extremely tough for her to do that and not lose all contact with her baby.
If she does ever manage to break away, I'd love it if she wrote a book talking about her evil ex, the way so many women formerly married to stars do. I have a feeling that we've only heard a small part of what Scientology is about. It needs to be exposed for what it is - a cult, and not a true religion.

I think it's very sad that she has become entrapped by Scientology and Cruise. I have a deep feeling that if she tries to get away, they will find a way to keep her baby, so she really is stuck. But she is an adult, and entitled to her choices, no matter how unwise. I also wonder if the reason she has not been seen much is that she is suffering from post partum depression. Prior to the birth of her child she was out and about almost up to the day of the birth, now she is invisible.

She looks like a deer in head lights after its been hit by a car. She never really had much a personalty, or talent,or good looks for that matter, but she was young, dumb,and easy for Dark lord of the underworld Tom cruise to control.

She certainly does and stressed out. Thats why she wears sunglasses all the time. I think she can't get out now without her baby. The Scientologists have big plans for the that baby.

yes I think so too I use to like her as an actress but when she got together with Mr.Crazy she has changed,I thought she wanted to play the leading role in movies not be in the Shadow of a crazy washed up 40 something year old man !!!!

I used to think that way but bottom line we don't know whats going on behind closed doors. She, like everybody else, makes mistakes and learns from them. She is a big girl and a new mom I think she is capable of handling herself.
