I don't think they really are.
I was not happy when I was poor as I was always trying to find a job and money, and working where I got paid small wages, and seeking free things to do, and being cold, hungry and always tired...
I'm not rich now...but I get a wage...
I ask...are poor people happy?

I doubt you are wrong.Poor peoples can be happy while rich people may not be definitely happy.Actually happy can be very simple,it no need many money.You can be very happy when you can be with your family,or you watch a nice movie,help other people and.....................Do be content with what you have,greedy people will never be happy because they always feel not enough with what they have.No matter you are rich or poor,happiness is in your own hand,no one can decided for you.Remember this:In the world,anything can use money to buy except HAPPINESS!!!

I am poor and happy. I am barely getting by. We make damn good money but have so much debt we just cant get ahead right now. It does suck, but I am happy.
I have a loving husband of 10 yrs. 2 beautiful well behaved kids and another on the way. A dog that is so much fun.
It is not that we dont know what we are missing it is we dont need it to be happy. We have had money and been happy and without it and still happy. it is not money that makes us happy, it is each other.

Yes. They seams to be very happy with the little they have. Money does not make you happy you make you happy. Lots of time money brings you unhappiness even thou it sometimes makes you feel happy. Money provides you more comfort and doing things you wish to do, some times you have to work a lot to make that money and them you have no time to enjoy life and your money as you should. Poor people normally gets more love from the families and friends as they have more time to enjoy begin with them. Is good to have a balanced life style if you find yourself happy with it. Lots of very poor people has more food to eat than some of the riches, who are saving their money to but a new car or new home. . .

Some of us are rich in other ways.....
I've always had to work hard, two jobs usually, but I am rich with Love, and my wife and I have great sex daily - my kids are healthy and happy, and we have lots of fun going through life together even if we fight for what we have
Feel like the luckiest guy in the world sometimes....Very Happy
And Tired, and stressed, and and and, can't wait to get home to my family and my girl - Hope you find happiness tooo

Your life is what you make of it. There are poor people that are very happy because they don't feel like having everything is what makes their life worth living. Some people are just happy to be alive regardless of the way their lives turned out.If you have faith in God your life will run smooth with or without money.

i think every thing has a limit.the home that we live in 200 years ago belonged to another person.when i say my home only it means in a paper has written that is mine.there is a lot of homes in the world i can imagine in a lot of papers has written that they are mine,but in real if i do not use them it is only a paper.we also see some rich people that they are not happy,because their children waiting for end of their life and getting money.then i think a limit of money is enough and then a person must improve his character .we want something satisfy us a limit of money can do it.more satisfaction can obtain by improvement of other aspects of our character.
