Well, that's not entirely true than or now. Some of Michaelangelo's works were "fixed" to paint over potentially offensive nudity, for instance.
And today, there are still many tasteful pieces of art that include nudity and are not part of the porn industry.

Not all nude photos are considered pornography. Annes Geddes for instance depicts children nude and posing as flowers and animals and that is not pornography or child pornography. Some people just don't like looking at nude people so the art has changed to what people are comfortable with.

There are still photos/paintings being done today that are classified as art. It all depends in the way the photo is done. If it is classy, elegant and perhaps stylish, then it's art. If it is done just to show off genitalia, then it is porn. (Easiest way to say it - Art's main objective is to leave you with a certain mood, while porn's objective is to only give you one - make you horny.)
Nude - Art
Naked - Porn

Because nude painting at that time (1500's) were always connected with religion. Nude photos were never presented or viewed as sexual but as religious motive.

because People have there priority's backward.
In that time women and children were sheltered from violence, and now everything is about violence, just like now nudity is risque. Before, nudity or the human body was appreciated! this all goes back to when chivalry died, but it isn't all bad, Women's Liberation came out of the death of chivalry, It is just what our society chose as the lesser of 2 evils, It is a shame though, because art like that come only once in a life time, literally!

There is still art today that has nudity in it. Its considered art if the nudity is tasteful and only portrays people in their natural form. Pornography involves sex and fornication.
