I work with this BIG *****. She is ****** with my job. Everytime she think that I am not doing my job correctly....she uses that to her advantage and tell my boss about it. Most of the time...she has nothing to tell because I always correct my problems. I don't ask her for help nor do I talk to her, but she is constantly snooping and causing trouble for me. She is sneaky (VERY SNEAKY). How can I get this fat ***** back quietly with out causing a big mess? I am not being rude to all large people...this ***** is problem.

I worked for this woman that was a nasty b*tch also, actually a couple of them and both were my bosses.

I was a 'file assistant' and Carol was my boss. I was just reentering the office environment after bartending for years. She was nasty and rude. I think she didn't like my happy attitude and smiling all the time. I would have to stamp the mail a very specific way and I was never really shown how to. Since I was making mistakes she was even more disgusting to me. Telling me that she wouldn't let me on the computer until I did it perfect for a while. Well, she gave me my one month review and boy was it horrible. I retaliated with my own review of her and that her review was based soley on her personal opinion and she didn't like it at all. There was a sit down with HR, The VP and the Owner of the company and I told them that if I have to continue working for her then I wouldn't continue working there. I had heard, while working there, that she went through about 5 file assitants a year. So I know it wasn't me.

Then another boss of mine didn't like the fact that she was a dumb*ss, who couldn't spell, put together complete sentences, or speak clearly. I asked her one day if anyone had put together an Excel file for the job (I coordinated maintenace for about 250 stores) and she said no. Well, a new girl started and she tells her how she had this fabulous idea of putting together this Excel file, which I put together, right in front of me. I immediately corrected her. She didn't like that. Subsequently, my best friend was working there in the same department and my boss told her that I was after her job. I wasn't. all I wanted was a good raise when it came time. Oh well for her.

Now I work for a company where I was promoted in less then 9 months and I was told when I started that the woman can be catty (which aren't most of them in the office). I have no problems with anyone there.

Well, now that I shared my experiences with you, cuz it reminded me of what I went through.... The boss sees that this woman is being petty and if the boss doesn't, do you really want to continue working there?

I learned long ago that the best thing to deal with people who does not liked me much. And I had to be around that person often, is to smile and to be nice to the person in question. I am not saying that you have to be hypocrite, but just show that she is not bothering you that much and when she tell you are wrong, even thou you are not thanks her with a big smile and she probably will think better about you. I have met lots of people like your co-worker people that really made you dislike then, years later meeting those same people in another situation I discovered the most lovely person, weird? It is but is true history. What is her position at the work is she your supervisor or just a co-worker as you said. . .if she is in the same position as you, go ahead and talk to your boss, ask for his advice and what he/she thinks of your work he is the one to judge if yo you fit in or not. Tell him that you are happy to correct your mistakes as always you do,and listen to what he has to say. Good luck. And do not forget that smile!!! If you cannot smile help your lips w/ your fingers, but do it!!!

Those people are everywhere! If your boss isn't doing anything, all you can do is pray that fat-*** gets in a fatal accident on the way to work or on the way home. Or perhaps wait for her after work and put an arrow through her head. haha

They need a support group for people who have to work with "those kind" of people. Hey, maybe I'm on to something.

Just keep doing your job. Let her hang her self. When there is a problem that is her fault don't run to the boss this will make you look immature, instead just let it slip to a coworker that she did it or let the mistake go through the system and hope that it is caught by a higher up or quality control.

Well, start doing the same to her: sneak on her stuff, and when you see a flaw on what she's doing run to tell your boss about it. See your other companions if they are having the same trouble with her. You can ask them for help to do the task, and you can all have your payback.

If you cannot talk to your boss about this person, then just keep doing your job and eventually she will be seen for what she really is.

Keep a daily journal,EVERY work day, date and note the time as well. DON'T let her know. Give her enough rope to hang herself and then go to your boss or HR dept.
