I was a courier in a large city, I loved that job like no other. I did not make enough to survive and the wear and tear on my car was getting to me. I am curious how many others had 'so called' lowly jobs, but loved them and wish they could go back to it.

I was a supervisor at the Advance Auto Parts warehouse in Goodlettsville, TN. Was there for about 3 1/2 years. It was not air conditioned, not heated well and we worked long hours to get all the parts out. Plus we had to deal with customers who came to the warehouse to pick up their parts after ordering it at the store. It's been shut down now.
It wasn't my favorite job but I really wish I could go back. It was fun, kept me in better shape than I am now and I liked my crew.

My job used to be my fave but i've lost my compassion. I work in an emergency room and one time i loved it but i want a 'normal' job. Go to work in the morning and go home at five, have a nice evening and go to sleep. My entire 13 years since college has been working nights, 12 hr shifts. No life cuz you sleep all day.

i had the most fun at the bookstore, i was a one-man shelving team! and helping the customers was like a never ending scavenger hunt. i liked having a house account for the books/movies/music i got too.

the downside was, i went my normal speed and did the job better then most of them there, i got dirty looks from co-workers cos of it. i didn't make them look bad, they made themselves look bad by not doing their job as it should be done.

i checked, in 6 months time they gave me 2 sections instead of one. and they had me work in 18 areas that were not mine, and the manager talked to me and we made out hours for myself which were the same each week.

i cleared over 60 shelves of backstock, i even found music suppliers better then the ones we had.

but they fired me cos i wanted to transfer to a store that was 2 miles from my home and they didnt want to lose me

I love working on the sites at http://emoney.ztweb.biz

I also enjoyed working in a pet store. True, I spent half my time cleaning up poop and dealing with belligerant customers, but the other half was spent working with animals, which is always awesome.
