I have been planning a trip to Florida the past 2 months, now that time is near rain is in the forecast every day. I would like to ask Florida residents does it really rain everyda? if so does it rain in the afternoons, all day or during the evening. I'm so woried because the majority of our activities we have planned are outdoors in both cities.

to tell you the truth it does rain almost everyday. mostly in the afternoon. Itll be real sunny for most of the day and that causes the rain clouds to produce. then at around 3-midnight is the best chance for rain. the bad news is lately its been cloudy all day.

I lived about half my life in Miami(but not South Beach) and about half in Central Florida(Orlando and nearby cities) and this is what I can tell you:

It rains in the summer. A lot. One thing that surprised me when moving to Denver was that there are places where it doesn't rain EVERYDAY in the summer(and actually Denver does get Summer afternoon thunderstorms just not like Florida. Nothing's like Florida in the summer).

But Miami's thunderstorms are different than the kind you can expect to see in Orlando. Miami gets vary brief (but intense) deluges until the wind sweeps the clouds away. Orlando gets thunderstorms of longer duration. Both typically get the thunderstorms in the mid-afternoon to early evening as they pop up seemingly out of nowhere.

Both places can get really intense ones with tornadoes and occasionally hail(more common in Orlando than Miami).

Lately it has been raining most days. There are plenty of days it doesn't rain but even when it does it's not that bad. Usually the day will start out sunny, in the middle of the afternoon it'll get stormy and 20 min to an hour later it's sunny again.

It doesn't rain everyday. Some days it's just cloudy but don't worry there is still sun. Also it depends on your location chances are if you're at the beach you won't get rain. It rains more inland than on the coast. Trust me, I've been to the beach when it's pouring at my house and miraculously it's clear at the beach.
