Politics is not corrupt, Politicians are the festering sores in government. when you give power over many people to one or a few, a grave conflict of interest takes place. while the act of voting seems arbitrary it is more of an opinion poll than a decision making process and it is a general rule the Politicians will inevitably do what they think is best. if a politician sees an opportunity to improve his personal or political situation by abusing that power, it is then that such men are tempted. a good leader is one who sees through his own status to the state of living his people are subject to.

The leaders in every nation are but an image, a reflection of the nation that is being ruled.
If the nation is corrupt and tired, the leaders will be corrupt and un motivated.
If the nation itself is bent upon success through continued hard work and determination, there is no reason that the politicians will be able to misappropriate even a penny.

There are many reasons for that. One is that so many constituents of the electorate are so ignorant that they cannot put together a simple declarative sentence, or even spell a common, bi-syllabic word such as "corrupt."

money and votes. Politicians need money to run their campaigns, so they represent those with money. They also want votes so they will represent the beliefs of those who they think will vote for them.
