I'm dreading that it would be a lot of singing. I loved the South Park, bigger, longer, uncut musical, but then yet again, Trey Parker has a musical background. When will the Simpsons movie be released?

Its out next year apparently, on the 27 of july.
no word on it bein a musical, but they have had some funny songs in the tv show too, like who needs the kwiki mart and that one about the burlesque house, who puts the spring in springfield.

While I doubt the movie will be a musical, I have no doubts in my mind there will be musical numbers

It probably will be, which is a shame... the singing/dancing Simpsons episodes are my least favourite.
