None other than the New England Patriots.Great team.Great Coach. What more can you ask for? We've waited a long time to win a Super Bowl losing 2 previous ones including a stomping by the Chicago Bears in 1986, and our butts still hurt from that kicking. The other kick in the rear for the Patriots was in i think 1997 where the Patriots lost to the Packers. Until recently we were 0 for 2 in Super Bowls but now we're 3 for 5, but we still need to win some more. The Miami Dolphins are another one of my favorite teams (i live in miami) but that's a whole other day, or answer.
so back to the Patriots..... My last thing to say is:

Detroit Lions i grew up outside of Detroit moved around all over the country but have always stuck with the home team. Even though they lose 75 percent of the time they are finnally going to have a good year if the tigers can do it the lions can. They brought an offensive genius in mike martz and some discpline with marrinelli for a young team hopefully that will make them a contender

I've always been a Green Bay Packer fanatic! They have won the most titles in NFL history! They have been around since 1919, and in the NFL since 1921. I can remember the first football game I ever watched: Green Bay beat Chicago 40-28 in december of 1989 when I was nine. Go Pack!

Detroit Lions because I have lived in Michigan my whole life and I will one day see them shine. I watch them every Season even when they are down and I will continue to watch them until the day I can no longer see the TV.
Michigan (U of M) again I have been since I was little and now I'm married to a Fighting Irish Fan and our house is lively while this great team U of M is playing the stinking Irish. Go Blue

The Dallas Cowboys are my favorite NFL team. When I was little, my Dad asked who I liked. I asked him who my uncle liked. Dad said the Redskins, so I asked who my uncle hated....nuff said.
College: Notre Dame. I have alumni in my family. It's more of a religion than an obsession. Nothing like watching my 80 year old mother-in-law throw things at the TV with my 3 year old on her lap.

I live in Green Bay Wisconsin. So I thinks it's obvious which team is my favorite. You guessed it, The Chicago Bears. sorry Green Bay, but I'm a transplant here, have to stay with my hometown.

The Miami Dolphins, because they're my hometown team, Dan Marino is my favorite player, and they're the only franchise that can say they went a whole season undefeated.

i realize that most of the answers are nfl teams, but since i am not quite as diehard for NFL as i am for NCAA, i'm sticking with college.

i live in indiana, and i grew up with notre dame. i always enjoy watching them, and i think the school overall is just a great school. i'm not a fairweather fan either because i liked them back when they were struggling too. but yeah, theyre just a great team with a lot of good tradition. go irish!
