I always twist my words around. For example someone was trying to get ahold of me and my phone was shutoff.

I had told them that my shone was futtoff. I do it all the time. It's funny but it drives me nuts. I work with two girls whose names are Jackie and Beckie , and I call them Jecki and Backie

:o)))))

in germany they do that for a laugh - a really good one is:

kentucky fried chicken - kentucky schreit ficken (with means kentucky screams **** me)

btw: i do that with numbers - a 24 is a 42 and also he two sides of a clock - i have a hard time telling if it is 10 past 3 or 10 to 9...but i usually can work it out :o)

its a problem of the brain but there is help for that kind of thing - talk to langueage teachers about it...

I do not suffer from such. But try to curb yours because it may be funny at times but it can also be embarrassing and irritating to some. Be conscious of the words you speak. Think it over before you say them. :)

is that what it's called? i always thought it was some sort of verbal dyslexia. i do that sometimes but not intentionally. i remember telling someone to "sit at the back" but it came out as "back at the sit". i once said evelator instead of elevator. it doesn't happen frequently though so it doesn't really bother me that much. it's just one of those things, i guess. ^_^
