I haven't seen the movie or read the book but I've heard the book ending is dissapointing. Does the movie end differently? Please don't tell me the ending, just if their different. Thanks!

The final scene from the book is the same as the final scene in the movie, however the ending to the conflict is different. The role of Sophie is different in the book and movie. I will not put the details down and it would be a spoiler, but the book resolution was much better.

The ending for both the movie and the book is pretty much the same, the BIG difference in the two lies in their pacing and how the story translated better in the book as compared to the movie. :)

actually, their endings are just quite the same but the movie's a little bit better because it showed a somewhat revelation of the sarcophaggus of Mary Magdalene beneath Paris whereas in the book, there were no clear description of the latter. That was the biggest difference i think. there...

No, they are a little off from eachother. The movie isn't the exact same as the book..ending wise.

The endings were the same. The ending was terrific...the book was far superior to the movie.
